Canon CLC3900 Finisher

This is a picture of what I think the finisher will look like on this machine. The slot in the middle of the machine is where you will find the screw and the tab to release the finisher from connection to the copier.

  1. Turn off and unplug the machine.

  2. On the back left side of the main unit locate the finisher connector plug.

  3. Press the top of the plug and pull away from the main unit.

  4. Return to the front of the machine.

  5. Locate the breakaway cover at the seam of the main unit and the finisher.

  6. Pop the breakaway cover off the machine and set aside.

  7. Locate the connecting screw that was just uncovered by the breakaway cover.

  8. Use a Philips head screwdriver to unscrew the connecting screw and set the screw aside.

  9. Locate and push the connecting leaver to the left. This should detach the finisher.
