Canon iR9070 Deinstall

To deinstall the Canon imageRunner 9070, follow these simple directions. Remember to reattach screws or secure them with painters tape.

• Turn off and unplug the machine.
• If the finisher has a sheet feed on top open it upwards.
• On the back left side of the main unit locate and detach the connector plug. Protect the connector plug from damage during transportation.
  
• Locate the Philips head screw on the back top of the finisher near to the machine and unscrew the screw.
• Slide the top cover of the finisher toward the back and lift up.
• Locate the metal hooks (one in front and one in back of the finisher) and unscrew all screws that fasten the hooks in a locked position. Some screws may be missing.
  
• Lift the hooks into the up position and roll this finisher away from the machine.
• Return the hooks to the down position and replace the screws.
